I am a single mom to a fun spirited yet typical 13 yo and a pug mix dog who both love the caregivers on my team! We are looking for a couple more people for our team to fill open shifts and help out with sick and vacation days. I am a body that requires a lot of care with a fully functioning brain and heart. Our days consist of suprapubic catheter cleaning and bag emptying, feeding tube cleaning and filling of my belly, trach care, Swinging me around in the hoyer lift and centering my butt in my wheelchair. Some days we go to the Bahamas aka my shower days. Other days we may take a walk or go to an appointment. Most days will have small challenges all days should have laughter. Self confidence is a must as small things are bound to happen. Hello! I am a mom of a 5 year old child and I use an electric wheelchair for mobility. I require full transfer assistance from bed to wheelchair and from wheelchair to toilet or shower bench, assistance with dressing, bathing, bathroom care, house keeping such as laundry, meal prep and cooking, cleaning, and caring for my 3 cats such as feeding and scooping their litter boxes. I do not drive but I have a wheelchair accessible van that I use for transportation, so I need someone who is able to drive and assist me with appointments, community based tasks such as grocery shopping, and going places for enjoyment.
