Position Summary
A family in La Crosse, WI is seeking a reliable and patient Personal Support Worker to provide transportation for a child with high needs and autism. Due to the child’s specific support needs and comfort level, the family prefers a male provider for this role. Responsibilities focus on safe, calm transportation from La Crosse to a scheduled appointment in Sparta every other Sunday.

Destination: Appointment in Sparta, WI
Schedule:
Every other Sunday
Time: 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM
Total Hours: 1 hour 15 minutes per shift
Compensation:
$18.60 per hour
Responsibilities
Safely transport the child from La Crosse to Sparta every other Sunday.
Support the child during transport using calm, consistent interaction.
Arrive promptly to ensure on‑time appointment arrival.
Follow all behavioral, safety, and communication guidelines provided by the family.
Provide a predictable, reassuring environment during the drive.
Qualifications
Experience supporting individuals with autism or high needs preferred.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Dependable, insured vehicle appropriate for transporting a child safely.
Patience, reliability, and strong communication skills.
Ability to commit to an every-other-Sunday schedule.
Male providers are preferred based on the child’s comfort and care requirements.
