• Optional: Accompany the client on outings such as car rides, errands, or movies when desired — family covers the client’s food and activity costs
• Maintain a calm, consistent presence in the home
Note: The day nurse handles food preparation, laundry, and showering. These tasks are not required of the overnight nurse unless an unexpected accident occurs (rare).

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred (for optional outings)
• Ability to successfully complete a background check
• Private bedroom and bathroom for your use during shifts*

*Note: The position is not required to stay awake all night and can sleep through the night when the client is sleeping, and only needs to be available if the client awakens in the night, or if there is an emergency
